Robot vacuums
Robot vacuums with dry and wet cleaning: LiDAR navigation, 3,000–36,000 Pa, docks that wash mops and self-empty. Roborock, Dreame, Ecovacs, Xiaomi, Eufy, DJI, Cecotec, Midea.
How to choose a robot vacuum
A robot vacuum pays off when it runs by itself every day and you barely look after it — which is why navigation and the dock matter as much as suction.
- Navigation. A LiDAR laser maps your home on the first run and works in the dark; a camera with AI also recognises cables, socks and pet mess. Cheaper gyroscope models suit one or two rooms. In the app you pick rooms, no-go zones and a schedule.
- Suction. 3,000–5,000 Pa is enough for hard floors; for carpets and pet hair choose 8,000 Pa or more, flagships promise 20,000–36,000 Pa. Pa is the turbo maximum — day to day the robot runs more quietly.
- Mopping. A simple pad dampens the floor, rotating or vibrating mops scrub. A good robot lifts the mop when it drives onto carpet so it stays dry.
- Dock. A basic dock only charges. A self-emptying dock sucks dust into a bag that lasts 1–2 months. An Omni-type dock washes and dries the mops, refills the water tank and drains the dirty water.
- Thresholds, hair and battery. A typical robot clears a 2 cm threshold; for higher sills look at models with a climbing mechanism. For hair you want a tangle-free rubber main brush. A 120–320 min battery covers 100–200 m².

Brands
Roborock is the benchmark for navigation and app: Saros and Qrevo build the most accurate maps. Dreame gives high suction and an Omni dock at a good price. Ecovacs Deebot X and T Omni mop strongly. Xiaomi leads on value with the Mi Home app. Eufy (Anker) robots are quiet and easy to maintain, DJI Romo is a fresh flagship entrant. Cecotec Conga models have long battery life, Midea is the cheapest wet-and-dry option.
Preparation and delivery
Clear cables and light rugs from the floor, give the dock 0.5 m on each side and 1.5 m in front. Replace the filter every 3–6 months, the brush every 6–12, and wash mop pads monthly. A robot with its dock weighs 5–12 kg — we deliver by courier across Estonia; a compact model also fits a parcel locker in 1–2 working days.

Frequently asked questions
Which robot vacuum is best for pet hair? At least 8,000 Pa, a tangle-free rubber main brush and a self-emptying dock — so you do not clean the brush every day.
Does a robot replace a normal vacuum cleaner? For daily cleaning, yes: it keeps the floor constantly clean. Stairs, the sofa and corners remain a stick vacuum's job.
How many Pa do I need? 3,000–5,000 Pa for hard floors, 8,000+ Pa for carpets. Over 20,000 Pa makes sense with lots of pet hair and thick rugs.
Will the robot cross a threshold or a rug? Most clear a 2 cm threshold and a short-pile rug; higher sills need a model with a climbing chassis.
How much upkeep does an Omni dock need? Every 1–2 weeks top up the clean water and empty the dirty tank, every 1–2 months change the dust bag. Without a dock, you empty the bin after every run.
