Conference solutions

A meeting room ready in a day

A hybrid meeting works when the remote participant hears and sees as well as the people in the room. Conference systems cover camera, microphones and audio, while HDMI splitters and switches get the picture to the right screen.

Where to start

• Small room (2–4 people). A speakerphone or a compact video bar — a wide-angle camera and good echo cancellation are enough.
• Medium room (4–8). A video bar paired with a display; add an expansion microphone for the far end of the table.
• Large room or hall. A room kit with its own compute unit and touch controller, a separate camera and a microphone array.
• Several screens. A splitter duplicates the picture, a matrix lets each screen pick its own source, an extender carries the signal beyond cable range.

Frequently asked questions

Will it work with Teams and Zoom? A BYOD device works with any app because it connects to your laptop; a certified room kit is tied to one platform.

Does it all fit a parcel locker? Speakerphones and splitters do; large video bars and room kits come by courier.
