Where to start with streaming
- Audio first. Viewers leave because of bad sound, not bad video. A USB microphone is the highest-impact first purchase.
- Microphone pattern. A cardioid pattern picks up your voice and rejects room noise - exactly what a streamer needs.
- Capture card. Needed when the source is a console or a second PC. Check the supported resolution and frame rate.
- Control deck. A button panel switches scenes and triggers effects without alt-tabbing out of the game.
