How to choose an electric grill
- Type. A contact grill cooks both sides at once, a tabletop grill suits a group.
- Power. 1500–2400 W holds temperature even when cold meat goes on.
- Plates. Removable plates are dishwasher safe; flat for sandwiches, ribbed for meat.
- Fat drainage. A tilted plate and separate tray make grilling leaner.
