How to choose a wine cooler
- Capacity. 12–20 bottles is plenty at home; 40 or more suits a collector.
- Zones. Dual zones let you keep red (14–18 °C) and white (6–12 °C) at the right temperature at the same time.
- Shelves. Wooden shelves damp vibration and cradle bottles more gently than metal.
- Door. UV-protected glass shields the wine from light while keeping the collection on show.
- Noise and vibration. Wine dislikes shaking, so a quiet compressor matters for long storage.
