Who needs a label printer
At home for folders, boxes and food containers; in a workshop for cables and panels; in an online shop for printing shipping labels straight from the order. Thermal printing uses no ink — only the tape is consumed.
How to choose
- Tape width. 12 mm for folders and cables, 24–36 mm for larger labels and shelving.
- Laminated tape (TZe). Survives water, oil and rubbing — it lasts for years.
- Connection. A handheld with a keyboard works with no computer; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth models take text from your phone.
- Shipping labels (QL series). A roll rather than a cassette — fast for high volumes.

FAQ
Does any tape fit any printer? No. TZe tapes go in P-touch devices, DK rolls in the QL series — check the product code.
How long does a label last? Laminated tape takes washing and sunlight for years; plain paper labels are for short-term use.
