How to choose a food processor
- Bowl size. 2–3 L suits a couple, 4–6 L a family and yeast dough.
- Power. 800 W is enough for chopping; heavy dough needs 1000–1200 W.
- Planetary or multifunction. A planetary mixer is for dough and cream, a processor slices and grates.
- Attachments. A blender jug, mincer head and grating discs replace separate appliances.
