Who a 32-inch TV suits
This is a second screen: kitchen, bedroom, summer house, workshop. Viewing distance is 1.5–2 metres; further away the picture feels small and on-screen text becomes hard to read.
- Resolution. At this size the gap between HD (1366 × 768) and Full HD shows only up close, and 4K is not made in this diagonal because the eye could not resolve it.
- Smart TV. Google TV, WebOS and Titan OS put Netflix and YouTube straight on the remote. Without a smart platform you need a separate stick.
- Weight and mounting. At 4–7 kg the cheapest fixed wall bracket is enough; VESA is usually 100 × 100 or 200 × 200.
- Sound. Speakers are 2 × 6–10 W: fine for a small room, not for a living room.
- Ports. At least two HDMI and one USB; an older set-top box or DVD player may also need composite or SCART.
If 32 inches is too small
For a living room choose 43 inches or 50 inches — those are 4K and the difference is immediate. The full range is in TVs.
Delivery and mounting
A TV is oversized goods: it does not go to a parcel locker and arrives with the oversized courier. One person can hang this size — see TV mounts and check the VESA holes on the back before ordering.
Frequently asked questions
Is 4K worth it at 32 inches? No. Such sets are barely produced, and from two metres you would not see the difference.
Can I use it as a computer monitor? You can, but text on an HD panel looks soft up close — for work pick a 24-inch monitor instead.
Will the remote control my set-top box? Most models manage it over HDMI-CEC, but not all — each product page states it.
