How to choose a vacuum sealer

• Type. Bar sealers are cheaper and compact; chamber models also handle liquids and soups.
• Pump capacity. 8–12 l/min gives a faster, stronger vacuum.
• Roll width. 30 cm suits a large cut of meat or fish, 20 cm covers everyday portions.
• Built-in cutter and roll storage. Cut bags to size yourself instead of buying pre-made ones.
• Gentle mode. Needed for berries, bread and anything easily crushed.
