Xiaomi Mi Band straps

Generation matters more than colour

A Mi Band strap holds the capsule, and the capsule shape changes between generations. Pick by your generation first; colour and material come second.

• Mi Band 3 and 4 share the same strap.
• Mi Band 5 and 6 are interchangeable, and some straps fit 3/4/5/6 at once.
• Mi Band 7 and the newer 8/9 stand apart — an older strap will not seat properly.

Material and care

The vast majority are silicone: washable, sweat-proof and cheap. A few are steel or leather, which turn the band into jewellery rather than training kit. The capsule pushes out of the old strap and drops into the new one the same way.

From the same shelf

The band itself is under fitness bands, screen protection under smartwatch accessories. Straps for other watches are on the watch straps page, and Apple's are here.

Frequently asked questions

Does a Mi Band 6 strap fit a Mi Band 7? No. The capsule shape differs, so take a strap for your own generation.

How do I get the capsule out? Push it from the back with a finger — it pops out of the opening and goes into the new strap the same way.

Can the strap be washed? A silicone strap can be rinsed in lukewarm water and wiped dry; take the capsule out while you do it.
