How to choose an epilator
- Epilator or IPL. A tweezer epilator removes hair from the root straight away; an IPL device reduces regrowth over a course of sessions. Use the Type filter.
- Wet & Dry. A wet-use model works in the shower, and warm water makes the process gentler.
- Number of tweezers. 20 tweezers suit smaller areas; 40 cover a leg faster.
- Power. Cordless models are free of the socket; corded ones never need charging.
IPL devices — what to know
IPL works with light pulses and needs a course of treatments: every couple of weeks at first, then maintenance sessions. Models differ in flash count and intensity levels — both are listed in the product specifications.

Frequently asked questions
Does epilation hurt? The first sessions feel stronger; skin gets used to it. A Wet & Dry model used in warm water eases the sensation.
How long should the hair be? Manufacturers recommend at least 0.5 mm — shorter hair is not caught by the tweezers.
