Redmi Pad SE 8.7″ and 11″ are two different tablets
The most common mistake when buying a Xiaomi tablet case: two different devices are sold as the Redmi Pad SE. The first Redmi Pad SE has an 11″ screen, and the smaller Redmi Pad SE 8.7″ came later. Their dimensions, camera and buttons differ, so an 11″ cover will not fit the 8.7″ tablet, or the other way round. If the size is in the product name, go by that; if not, message us before ordering. Our widest choice is for the Redmi Pad SE.
Redmi Pad 2, Redmi Pad Pro, Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 7
The other models each have their own body too. The Redmi Pad 2 is a newer budget tablet, the Redmi Pad Pro a larger 12.1″ model, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is 11″ and the Xiaomi Pad 7 is 11.2″. The Pad 6 and Pad 7 are close in size, but their dimensions do not match, so choose the cover for your exact model.
How to check your tablet model
Open Settings → About tablet: it shows the full device name, such as Redmi Pad SE 8.7 or Xiaomi Pad 7. The model filter on the left groups all Redmi Pad SE cases together, so tell the 8.7″ and 11″ versions apart by the product name.
Folio, original cover or light case
- Folio cases with a stand. Tactical Tri Fold (Redmi Pad SE and Redmi Pad Pro), Dux Ducis Domo and the Made for Xiaomi folio for the Xiaomi Pad 6 cover the screen and fold into a stand.
- Original Xiaomi covers. For the Redmi Pad SE 8.7″ and Redmi Pad 2 there are Xiaomi’s own covers.
- Light cases. Obal:Me MistyTab is available for the Redmi Pad SE, Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 7.
- With a pen slot. The Tech-Protect SC Pen for the Redmi Pad SE keeps a stylus with the case.
All tablet cases are under tablet cases, and covers for Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones under Xiaomi cases. For another tablet brand see Samsung Galaxy Tab cases and Lenovo Tab cases, and a new tablet in tablets.
Frequently asked questions
Does a Redmi Pad SE case fit the Redmi Pad SE 8.7? Only if the case is made for the 8.7″ version. The 11″ and 8.7″ Redmi Pad SE are tablets of different sizes.
Does a Xiaomi Pad 6 case fit the Pad 7? No. The Pad 6 is 11″ and the Pad 7 is 11.2″, so their dimensions differ.
Are Redmi Pad 2 and Redmi Pad SE cases the same? No, they are different models: the Redmi Pad 2 needs a case with Redmi Pad 2 in its name.
Does a folio work as a stand? Yes, on most of our folios the front cover folds into a stand so the tablet stays upright.
How fast will the case arrive? In-stock covers usually reach a parcel locker or arrive by courier within 1–2 working days. An unused item can be returned within 14 days in its original packaging.
