How to choose a gaming chair
You sit in a gaming chair for hours every day, so three things matter: upholstery material, adjustability and the maximum user weight.
- Material. Fabric breathes better and feels nicer in summer; PU leather is easier to wipe clean and keeps its looks longer.
- User weight. The usual limit is 120-150 kg. Pick one with headroom - the frame and gas lift last longer that way.
- Adjustability. A reclining backrest (135-180 degrees), height adjustment and 3D/4D armrests let you dial the chair in.
- Lumbar and neck pillows. The single most important detail for long sessions.
- Base and castors. A metal base carries more than plastic; soft castors will not scratch wooden floors.
