Next Level Racing ERS4 Elite PU Leather & Suede reclining racing seat, up to 150 kg

ERS4 is a Next Level Racing reclining seat that the manufacturer places in its Reclining Seat family. It is not a gaming chair on casters and not a complete racing simulator: the frame, wheel base, wheel and pedals are chosen separately. The seat is for people building their own rig or replacing the seat on an existing frame with a more comfortable, adjustable one.

The PU Leather & Suede Edition combines two materials: PU leather, from which dust and marks wipe off with a damp cloth, and suede, which feels soft and is not slippery. The combination is reminiscent of sports car seats. Black matches most sim rig frames. Which material covers which part of the seat is not stated by the manufacturer.

The backrest is adjustable and the product is named a Reclining Seat. You can set the backrest more upright, as in rally and GT cars, or lean it further back if you prefer a lower position. The recline angle in degrees and the number of positions are not listed, so find your own position once the seat is on the frame.

The manufacturer's maximum load is 150 kg, which leaves room for heavier drivers. The seat itself weighs 15.6 kg, worth keeping in mind both when choosing a frame and when fitting it, as lifting and bolting the seat is easier with two people. The position and size of the mounting holes are not given by the manufacturer.

ERS4 Elite PU Leather & Suede suits a sim racer who already has a frame or is building a cockpit and wants a reclining seat with a sports car style leather-look surface.
