Onex Ventra Premium Mesh gaming chair, mesh, 3D armrests, Red

Premium Mesh in the model name means mesh upholstery. Unlike faux leather and dense padding, mesh lets air pass through, so your back stays cooler during a long gaming session or a warm working day. The supplier data does not say exactly which parts of the chair are covered in mesh; the Onex website has the details.

Onex classes the Ventra Premium Mesh as a gaming office chair. In practice it is meant for both a gaming desk and a home office, with adjustments designed for everyday computer work. If you work at the same desk during the day and play there in the evening, one chair covers both roles and you do not need room for two.

The armrests adjust in three directions (3D). Three directions give more freedom than simpler 2D armrests: you can position the pad so your forearm rests next to the keyboard or mouse and your shoulders stay relaxed. The manufacturer does not list the range of each adjustment, but the principle is the same as on office chairs.

The backrest is adjustable, so you can set it to suit your body. The supplier data does not say exactly what adjusts or over what range. The chair is rated for users up to 125 kg and weighs 21 kg itself, which points to a solid build that stands firmly on the floor.

People who use one desk for both work and games and want a single chair for both; anyone who finds a faux leather chair too warm in summer; and users who need flexible 3D armrests. The red colour stands out in a dark gaming corner, and the white version is the same model in a lighter finish.
