How to choose a juicer
- Type. Centrifugal is fast and cheaper; a slow masticating juicer yields more juice with less foam.
- Feed chute. A wide chute takes a whole apple — less chopping.
- Jug and anti-drip. A bigger jug and anti-drip spout keep the kitchen clean.
- Cleaning. Dishwasher-safe parts decide whether the juicer actually gets used.

Frequently asked questions
Is a slow juicer better? Yield and shelf life are better, but it costs more and works slower.
Can a blender replace it? No — a blender makes smoothies with pulp, a juicer separates the juice.
