Ajax BulletCam 5 MP 4 mm IP camera, 85°, IR 35 m, PoE, White

The 4 mm lens has an 85° horizontal field of view. Compared with the 2.8 mm version, less of the surroundings fits in the frame, but people and objects further away appear larger and are easier to make out. It suits a long corridor, a gate or door, a checkout or a loading area, where seeing who is coming matters more than covering the whole room at once. The image is 5 MP at 2880 × 1620 and 25 frames per second.

Built-in IR reaches up to 35 m in darkness, and the camera switches between day and night modes by itself. WDR keeps details visible when the frame holds a bright door or window and a dark corner at the same time, which is typical at entrances. H.265 compression reduces recording size and network load, so the archive can cover a longer period on the same storage.

All Ajax system data is stored within the European Union in line with European data protection standards. For each user you can define exactly what they see from the camera. BulletCam is NDAA-compliant: its components come from manufacturers approved by the US government. The camera has also passed independent cybersecurity tests, which matters in public-sector and enterprise procurement.

The Ajax mobile and desktop apps include a video wall that gathers the latest clips from IP cameras and MotionCam series detectors, and you can rearrange the tiles as you like. Tapping an event in the notification log opens that camera's recording at the exact moment of the event, so there is no need to scroll through long footage. Dual streams let you view a lighter stream on your phone while recording at full quality.

The camera is powered only over PoE: one network cable carries both power and data, and no socket is needed near the camera. A mounting kit is included, and the camera fixes to a ceiling or wall. The white housing measures 198 × 76 × 76 mm and weighs 550 g. IP65 means it is dust-tight and protected against water jets, and it operates from −30 to +60 °C.
