Apple MacBook Pro laptop 14" M5 Max 18C CPU/32C GPU 36 GB/2 TB, Space Black, SWE

The 14-inch MacBook Pro is smaller than the 16-inch model and therefore easier to take along, yet the chip is of the same class: an M5 Max with 18 CPU and 32 GPU cores. You can work on heavy video or 3D on a train, in a hotel or at a client's office without giving up the core count of the larger machine. The manufacturer does not specify the display resolution.

The graphics processor is part of the M5 Max chip and has 32 cores. GPU cores work in parallel, which speeds up video export and encoding, colour grading, 3D rendering and machine learning tasks. Compared with the 16 or 20 cores of the 14-inch M5 Pro models, there are considerably more GPU cores here.

The chip's CPU has 18 cores. Compiling code, compressing files, mixing audio and running virtual machines can share the cores, so a background job does not slow down whatever you are doing on screen. The benefit shows most in long, heavy tasks.

Unified memory means the CPU and GPU use the same 36 GB, so graphics are not limited to separate video memory. That helps with large photos, high-resolution video and AI models. A 2 TB SSD is a lot of space for a compact laptop: projects and media libraries fit on the machine itself.

The keyboard has a Swedish (SWE) layout with Å, Ä and Ö on the keys. For Estonian, Ä and Ö are already in place, while Õ and Ü are typed through the Estonian layout in macOS. The manufacturer does not list keyboard backlighting, ports or wireless specifications for this configuration.

Video editors and photographers who often work away from the studio; developers who want many cores in a small chassis; 3D designers who present their work at client sites; and anyone who wants the M5 Max chip but prefers the more compact 14-inch format.
