ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-G Edition 20 gaming monitor 26.5" WQHD 540 Hz

The ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-G Edition 20 is a 26.5-inch gaming monitor that ASUS released as a limited edition for the 20th anniversary of ROG, with an alternative colour design. Its WOLED panel at 2560 × 1440 reaches a 540 Hz refresh rate and a 0.02 ms response time, so fast motion stays sharp even in competitive games.

  • Display: 26.5″, 2560 × 1440 (WQHD, 16:9), glossy surface
  • Panel and refresh rate: WOLED, up to 540 Hz, 0.02 ms (GTG)
  • Brightness and HDR: 1500 cd/m² peak, HDR10, 99.5% DCI-P3
  • Ports: 2 × HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, 3 × USB-A, headphone out
  • Adjustments: 110 mm height, tilt −5…20°, swivel ±30°, pivot ±90°
  • Ergonomics: VESA 100 × 100, flicker-free, low blue light, no speakers

Description

540 Hz that keeps fast motion clear

A refresh rate of up to 540 Hz means the image on screen is redrawn 540 times per second. In fast esports shooters you see an opponent's movement more smoothly, and every mouse movement reaches the screen with almost no delay. An OLED pixel switches in 0.02 ms (GTG), so the smeared trail behind fast objects that LCD panels are known for is practically absent. The monitor also offers motion blur reduction and a dedicated game mode.

OLED picture with deep blacks and rich colour

On an OLED panel every pixel produces its own light, so black really is black, and the manufacturer quotes a contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1. Peak brightness reaches 1500 cd/m², and HDR10 support gives HDR games and films the dynamic range they are mastered for. The panel covers 99.5% of DCI-P3 and 135% of sRGB and displays 1.073 billion colours. Viewing angles of 178° keep the picture unchanged even from the side.

Adaptive sync that removes screen tearing

The monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and is NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, so it works well with both Radeon and GeForce graphics cards. When a game's frame rate fluctuates, the screen matches its refresh rate within a 48–540 Hz range, so the image neither tears nor stutters. DisplayPort 2.1 and two HDMI 2.1 ports provide the bandwidth for high refresh rates, and HDCP 2.3 lets you watch protected streaming content.

A stand that adapts to your desk

The stand raises the screen by 110 mm, tilts it from −5° to 20°, swivels it ±30° and rotates it ±90° into portrait orientation. If desk space is tight, the VESA 100 × 100 interface lets you mount the monitor on a wall or a monitor arm. With the stand it weighs 7.04 kg, without it 4.54 kg, and it is 605.6 mm wide. A Kensington slot lets you secure it with a cable lock.

USB hub and OLED Care for long service

The built-in USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub offers three USB-A ports for a mouse, keyboard or headset, and there is a headphone output as well. ASUS OLED Care is the manufacturer's set of technologies for keeping the OLED panel in good shape over long-term use. The screen is flicker-free and reduces blue light, which matters during long gaming evenings. The surface is glossy: it emphasises the depth of black, but opposite a bright window you may notice reflections.

Who this gaming monitor is for

Competitive players who play fast shooters and want maximum refresh rate and minimum blur from their screen; gamers who also want HDR and deep OLED blacks in a compact display; ROG fans for whom the 20th anniversary edition is a collector's piece; and anyone looking for a compact yet fully adjustable gaming monitor.
