ASUS TUF FA608UMI Ryzen 7 RTX 5060 16GB 512GB 16" Gaming Laptop

The 16-inch IPS-level panel runs at 1920 x 1200 pixels. Its 16:10 shape gives you more vertical space than a standard widescreen display, which helps when you're browsing, editing documents or reading timelines. The 144 Hz refresh rate makes fast-paced shooters and racing games look noticeably smoother than on a 60 Hz screen. IPS-level technology keeps colours consistent when you view the screen from an angle. This is a non-touch display.

At the heart of the laptop is an AMD Ryzen 7 260 processor with a 3.8 GHz base clock. It handles game logic, streaming software and background apps at the same time, and it copes well with photo editing, coding and large spreadsheets. With this processor, the TUF works both as a gaming machine and as a dependable laptop for study or work.

Discrete NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics with 8 GB of dedicated memory handle the heavy lifting in modern games and GPU-accelerated apps such as video editors and 3D tools. The laptop also has integrated graphics. At the 1920 x 1200 native resolution, the RTX 5060 is well suited to driving the 144 Hz panel in a wide range of titles.

The 16 GB of DDR5-SDRAM runs at 5600 MHz, giving you enough headroom to run a game alongside a browser, Discord and other everyday software. The 512 GB SSD keeps boot times and game loading short. It also offers room for the operating system, your key applications and a selection of games. Larger libraries may call for external storage.

The 16-inch chassis leaves room for a full keyboard with a dedicated numeric keypad. This is handy for entering figures in spreadsheets and accounting software, and for games that use extra key bindings. The laptop comes in a black and grey colour scheme in line with the TUF series styling, and it weighs 2.2 kg. That weight is manageable for moving between home, school and the office.

The laptop ships with Windows 11 Home pre-installed, so you can sign in, install your game launchers and start playing straight away. Windows 11 offers features such as Snap layouts for multitasking, along with built-in gaming tools such as the Xbox app and Game Bar. The manufacturer does not list the battery capacity or the port selection in the specifications provided.

This configuration suits gamers who want RTX 5060 performance and a high refresh rate screen in a 16-inch format. It also fits students and home users who need one laptop for coursework, office tasks and evening gaming sessions. Content creators starting out with video or photo editing will benefit from the dedicated graphics and DDR5 memory.
