The 1/2.7-inch CMOS sensor delivers a 3288 × 1850 image at up to 25/30 frames per second. Starlight technology improves the picture in very weak light, so details are not lost in noise at dusk. WDR, BLC and HLC balance backlit scenes, and 3D noise reduction cleans up the image. H.265 and Smart H.265+ encoding keep archive size and network load small.
The built-in multi-core illuminator uses both infrared and warm white light, each with a range of up to 50 m. Infrared gives a discreet black-and-white image, while the warm light produces a colour image in which clothing and car colours can be told apart. The smart motion detection SMD 4.0 zone can be placed in the warm-light area, so the light that comes on during an alarm also warns the intruder.
WizSense series cameras use a dedicated AI chip and deep-learning algorithms. Intrusion and tripwire rules distinguish people from vehicles, and the camera also detects lingering, loitering and faces across the whole frame. AI SSA adapts the image to the scene. Self-diagnostics report tampering, memory card problems, network disconnection, IP conflicts, unauthorised logins and voltage fluctuations.
The white housing measures 122 × 122 × 108.3 mm and weighs 690 g. The camera mounts on a ceiling, and its IP67 rating allows outdoor use, with an operating range of −30 to 60 °C and humidity up to 95 %. Power arrives over PoE through the same network cable as the video, or from a 12 V DC supply if needed. Footage can be recorded to a microSD card of up to 512 GB.
