The 16-inch display runs at 1920 × 1200 in a 16:10 aspect ratio. Compared with a standard 16:9 screen the picture is taller, so documents, spreadsheets and web pages show more rows. Two windows sit comfortably side by side without an external monitor. The anti-glare finish cuts reflections from lamps and windows, and 300 cd/m² of brightness suits indoor work. The 2K in the supplier name means this same 1920 × 1200 resolution. There is no touchscreen on this model.

The Intel Core 5 120U is a ten-core processor with boost up to 5.0 GHz. The U suffix marks an energy-efficient mobile chip, built for long battery life and quiet running rather than heavy rendering. Office apps, a browser with dozens of tabs, video calls and coursework are its natural workload. Graphics are handled by integrated Intel Graphics; there is no discrete graphics card.

The 8 GB of DDR5 memory at 5200 MHz is fitted as a single module (1 × 8 GB). That is enough for a browser, office apps and video calls; if you keep many applications or large files open at once, the 16 GB configuration gives more room. The 512 GB SSD starts the system and apps in seconds and has room for documents, photos and work files.

The battery has a capacity of 41 Wh across three cells. Paired with an energy-efficient U-series processor, that means you do not have to hunt for a socket straight away in a lecture, a meeting or a café. The manufacturer does not give a runtime in hours, since it depends on screen brightness and workload. A 65 W AC adapter is included.

Wireless connectivity covers Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth. Wi-Fi 6 holds a steadier connection than older Wi-Fi 5 on busy networks such as open-plan offices. The fingerprint reader lets you sign in through Windows Hello without typing a password. The keyboard has an English layout and backlighting, so the keys stay visible in dim light. The chassis is Carbon Black.

On top of the Home edition, the preinstalled Windows 11 Pro adds BitLocker drive encryption, Remote Desktop hosting and the ability to join a company domain or Intune management. In practice your IT department can enrol the laptop without upgrading the operating system first. Encryption helps at home too: a lost laptop does not expose your files.
