Dell XPS 14 DA14260 laptop 14" 2.8K OLED touch Ultra X7 358H 32/512 GB

The 14-inch OLED panel at 2.8K resolution is noticeably sharper than a standard Full HD screen: text looks crisp and fine detail stands out in photos. On an OLED panel each pixel emits its own light, so black is truly black and contrast is very high — films and dark images look rich and deep. The 120 Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and cursor movement smooth. The screen is touch-enabled, so you can scroll and zoom documents and web pages with a finger.

The Intel Core Ultra X7 358H is a 16-core processor with boost up to 4.8 GHz. With that many cores, the load from several apps at once is shared out, so a video call, the browser and spreadsheets do not get in each other’s way, and photo exports or code builds finish sooner. Graphics are handled by the integrated Intel Arc Graphics, which copes with office work, video and light photo and video editing; there is no separate graphics card.

32 GB of LPDDR5x memory gives comfortable headroom for work: a browser with many tabs, office apps, video calls and photo editing run smoothly side by side. LPDDR5x is a fast, power-efficient memory type that also helps battery life. The 512 GB SSD (PCIe NVMe) is enough for the system, apps and current projects; large archives are better kept in the cloud or on an external drive.

The battery is rated at 70 Wh across three cells — a large capacity for a 14-inch laptop, with reserve for a long working day or a trip. The manufacturer does not give a runtime in hours, since it depends on screen brightness and workload. A 100 W USB-C charger with a European power cord comes in the box, so the laptop charges over USB-C. At 1.36 kg, the laptop is easy to carry in a bag.

The keyboard has an English (ENG) layout and backlighting, so the keys are easy to see in a dim room or on a plane. Wireless is Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 6.0: fast networking with a compatible router and a dependable link to headphones and a mouse. The chassis is finished in Graphite. Windows 11 Pro supports BitLocker drive encryption and joining a company domain.

Office and business users who want an OLED touchscreen and Windows 11 Pro in a light 1.36 kg body; students and analysts whose files live mostly in the cloud and for whom a 512 GB SSD is enough; and anyone looking for an XPS 14 configuration with an OLED screen, 32 GB of memory and the 16-core X7 processor.
