How to choose robot vacuum accessories

A robot cleans every day, so its brush, filter and mop wear out faster than on a regular vacuum. A consumable replaced on time keeps suction and battery life up, while a part for the wrong model simply will not fit.

• Exact model. Roborock S8, S8 Pro Ultra and S8 MaxV Ultra use different mop modules and dock parts; so do Qrevo S, Pro and MaxV. Check the model code on the underside of the robot and use the “compatibility” filter.
• Replacement interval. Side brush every 3–6 months, main brush 6–12, washable filter 3–6 (rinse weekly), mop pad 3–6, dock dust bag 1–3 months. In a home with pets, replace twice as often.
• Consumable or spare part. Brushes, filters and mops are consumables you swap yourself in a minute. The battery, LDS module, fan, wheels, sensors and mainboard are repair parts for a robot that is out of warranty but otherwise fine.
• Genuine or generic. Our range is genuine Roborock and Dreame parts: dimensions, bristle stiffness and filter density match the factory spec.
• Kit or single part. An accessory kit (main brush + side brushes + filters + mops) is cheaper than the parts separately and usually covers 6–12 months. Order a single part when only one thing has worn out.
• Wet-dry vacuums. Roborock Dyad and H series and Dreame H12–H15 need their own roller brushes, filters and tanks — separate consumables, not robot-compatible.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know which part fits my robot? Check the exact model name on the underside or in the app (S8 Pro Ultra, not just S8) and compare it with the models listed in the product name.

How often should I replace the filter? Rinse a washable filter weekly and replace it every 3–6 months — a clogged filter cuts suction and strains the motor.

Can I fit a new battery? Yes, Roborock batteries are available for several series. The swap takes 10 minutes with a screwdriver, after which the robot cleans for its full runtime again.

What is the LDS module? The spinning laser rangefinder on top of the robot that maps the room. If the robot wanders and cannot find its dock, this is usually the first suspect.

How quickly do parts arrive? Accessories ship as a small parcel: to an Omniva, DPD or Venipak parcel locker in 1–2 working days.
