The 16-inch IPS panel delivers a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels in a 16:10 aspect ratio, giving you more vertical space than a standard widescreen display. A 165 Hz maximum refresh rate keeps motion smooth in shooters and racing games, while the anti-glare surface cuts reflections from windows and overhead lights. LED backlighting reaches a rated brightness of 300 cd/m², which suits indoor gaming and office use.
Gaming performance comes from the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 discrete graphics card, equipped with 8 GB of GDDR7 video memory. This combination is well matched to the native WQXGA resolution of the screen and handles current titles, video editing and 3D rendering. A 150 W charger supplies the power needed for the processor and graphics card to work together under heavy load.
The AMD Ryzen 7 260 offers eight cores and a boost frequency of up to 5.1 GHz. That gives plenty of headroom for running a game alongside voice chat, a browser and streaming software, as well as for compiling code or exporting video. Multi-core performance also helps with everyday multitasking, so the laptop stays responsive when many applications are open at once.
The laptop ships with a single 16 GB SO-DIMM module running at 5600 MHz, leaving the second of its two memory slots free. Maximum supported memory is 64 GB. Storage starts with a 512 GB SSD, and there are two M.2 slots in total: one PCIe Gen4 x4 and one PCIe Gen4 x2. This means you can add a second drive for a larger game library without replacing the original one.
For online gaming, 802.11ax Wi-Fi provides a modern wireless connection, while the RJ-45 Ethernet port lets you plug straight into your router for a stable, low-latency link. Bluetooth 5.3 connects wireless headsets, controllers and mice. An HDMI port allows you to hook up an external monitor or TV, and the built-in Full HD front camera handles video calls and streaming.
The Black Steel chassis weighs 2.8 kg and houses a backlit keyboard with a US English layout, useful for late-night sessions. Power comes from an embedded 76 Wh lithium-ion battery. The laptop is supplied with DOS rather than Windows, so you are free to install the operating system of your choice, whether Windows or a Linux distribution.
The Gigabyte A18 Gaming 3VH is aimed at gamers who want RTX 5060 graphics and a high-refresh WQXGA screen, students and creators who need eight CPU cores for demanding software, and users who prefer to choose and install their own operating system. Its free memory slot and second M.2 slot make it a sensible choice for anyone planning to expand the laptop over time.
