Gigabyte AERO X16 16" Laptop Ryzen AI 9 465 32GB 1TB RTX 5070 Gray

The 16-inch IPS panel runs at 2560 x 1600 pixels in a 16:10 aspect ratio, giving you more vertical space for timelines, code and documents than a standard widescreen. A 165 Hz maximum refresh rate keeps scrolling and gameplay smooth, while 500 cd/m² brightness and an anti-glare surface help readability in bright rooms. The display is not a touchscreen.

The AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 offers 10 cores and boosts up to 5.0 GHz, so heavy browser sessions, photo editing and software builds run without stalling. As a Copilot+ PC, the laptop is designed for the AI-assisted features of Windows 11. Combined with 32 GB of RAM, the processor has the headroom to keep several demanding applications open side by side.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 dedicated GPU carries 8 GB of fast GDDR7 memory. It accelerates 3D rendering, video exports and GPU-based creative tools, and it can drive modern games at the panel's native QHD+ resolution. The 165 Hz screen means high frame rates are actually visible rather than wasted, making this laptop a capable choice for both work and play.

The 32 GB of memory sits in two SO-DIMM slots as 2x16 GB modules running at 5600 MHz, and the system supports up to 64 GB. Storage starts with a 1 TB SSD, and the chassis offers two M.2 slots, one PCIe Gen4 x4 and one PCIe Gen4 x2. This leaves room to add a second drive for projects, game libraries or backups later.

A 76 Wh lithium-ion battery powers the AERO X16 away from the desk, and a 150 W charger is supplied for topping up. The manufacturer does not list a rated runtime, which will vary with screen brightness and GPU load. For demanding sessions such as gaming or rendering, plugging into the charger gives the hardware its full power budget.

Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.3 handle wireless networking and accessories. For the desk, there is an HDMI output for an external monitor and an RJ-45 Ethernet port for a stable wired connection. The FHD 1080p IR webcam supports Windows Hello face authentication, so you can sign in to Windows 11 Home with a glance. The keyboard is backlit for typing in dim rooms.

Finished in Space Gray and weighing 1.9 kg, the AERO X16 is built for people who carry their workstation between home, office and studio. It suits video editors, designers, developers and students in creative fields who need dedicated graphics, as well as gamers who want a high-refresh display without a bulky desktop replacement.
