Intenso TX100 2TB External SSD, USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, Blue/Grey

A capacity of 2000 GB gives you plenty of room for everyday files and demanding archives alike. You can keep entire photo collections, raw video footage, music libraries and full system backups on a single drive instead of juggling several smaller ones. For anyone whose internal laptop storage keeps filling up, the TX100 offers a straightforward way to offload data while keeping it close at hand and quickly accessible.

Thanks to its solid-state design, the TX100 reads data at up to 500 MB/s. That is noticeably quicker than a typical external hard drive, so opening large files, browsing image folders or loading project assets feels far more responsive. Because there are no spinning platters inside, access is immediate and the drive works silently, which is a welcome change if you are used to the hum and clicks of mechanical storage.

The drive uses a USB Type-C connector and the USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard, also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1. This interface offers enough bandwidth to support the SSD's rated read speed and plugs straight into the USB-C ports found on many modern laptops, desktops and tablets. Note that the manufacturer does not specify which cables or adapters are included, so check your setup if your computer only has older USB-A ports.

Weighing only 44 g, the TX100 slips easily into a laptop bag, jacket pocket or travel pouch without adding noticeable bulk. Solid-state storage has no moving mechanical parts, which makes it a more practical travel companion than a traditional portable hard drive. The blue and grey finish gives the drive a clean, understated look that sits comfortably next to any notebook or desk setup.

The TX100 suits a wide range of users. Students can carry coursework and presentations between home and campus, office workers can keep large documents and backups separate from their main machine, and photographers or video hobbyists can move sizeable media files quickly. It is also a sensible choice for anyone who wants a dedicated backup drive that is fast, quiet and easy to store in a drawer.
