Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 4 Core Ultra 5 325 24GB 512GB W11 Pro laptop

The 16-inch WUXGA display offers a 1920 x 1200 resolution in a taller 16:10 format than a standard Full HD panel. That extra vertical space shows more rows of a spreadsheet, more lines of code or more of a long document without constant scrolling. On a screen this size, two windows fit comfortably side by side, which makes comparing files, joining a video call while taking notes or working across several browser tabs noticeably easier.

At the heart of this ThinkPad is the Intel Core Ultra 5 325, a processor from Intel's Core Ultra family aimed at mainstream productivity. It handles office suites, web applications, email, video conferencing and light photo editing with ease. Graphics are provided by integrated Intel graphics, which cover presentations, video playback and external displays for office use, while keeping the system simpler than a model with a separate graphics card.

With 24GB of memory, this configuration has more headroom than common 8GB or 16GB setups, so dozens of browser tabs, large spreadsheets and several open applications can run together without slowing down. The 512GB SSD gives quick start-up and fast file access, with enough space for the operating system, work applications and a sizeable library of documents and project files stored locally.

Windows 11 Pro comes preinstalled and adds business-oriented features over the Home edition, such as BitLocker drive encryption, Remote Desktop hosting and support for joining company domains and management tools. A fingerprint reader lets you sign in with a single touch instead of typing a password, which is both faster and more secure in shared offices, at university or when working on the move.

The keyboard uses a Nordic layout, so the Scandinavian characters and familiar key positions used across the region are all there. Backlighting keeps the keys readable in dim meeting rooms, on evening train journeys or at a desk late at night. ThinkPad keyboards are designed for long typing sessions, which suits anyone who spends much of the day writing reports, emails or code.

Weighing 1.63 kg, the ThinkPad E16 Gen 4 is manageable to carry between home, office and meetings despite its large 16-inch screen. Power comes from an embedded rechargeable battery. Lenovo does not list the battery capacity or rated runtime for this configuration, so actual battery life will depend on screen brightness, workload and power settings. The black finish gives it an understated, professional look.

This laptop is a sensible fit for small businesses, office staff, students and remote workers who want a large screen, plenty of memory and business-grade security features in one machine. The Windows 11 Pro licence makes it easy to integrate into company IT environments, while the Nordic keyboard and fingerprint reader suit daily use in Estonia and the wider Nordic and Baltic region.
