Description

A display with room for the drawing and the tools

The 16-inch IPS panel runs at 1920 × 1200 with a 16:10 aspect ratio, which adds height compared with a 16:9 screen — there is space for panels and menus around your model. 500 cd/m² of brightness combined with an anti-glare finish keeps the picture clear in a brightly lit room. This display has no touch layer.

A processor and memory that keep work moving

The Intel Core Ultra 7 356H is an H-series processor with 16 cores and boost up to 4.7 GHz, which speeds up compiling, simulations and exports. 64 GB of LPDDR5X memory at 8533 MHz lets you keep large models, datasets and virtual machines open. The memory sits in an LPCAMM2 module rather than being soldered, and the 1 TB SSD holds both the system and your projects.

Professional graphics with dedicated video memory

The NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell is a workstation graphics card with 8 GB of GDDR7 video memory. It accelerates CAD and BIM software, 3D modelling, rendering and machine learning experiments. Because the card has its own video memory, large models and textures do not compete for system RAM the way they do with integrated graphics.

Connectivity for current accessories

Two Thunderbolt 5 ports and one Thunderbolt 4 port support DisplayPort 2.1 and USB PD 3.1 power, so a monitor or charger can go into any of them. There is also HDMI, USB-A (10 Gbit/s, Always On), an SD Express 7.0 card reader for photographers and videographers, a 3.5 mm headset jack and a Kensington Nano security slot. Wireless runs over Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 5.4.

A battery sized for a machine with a graphics card

Battery capacity is 90 Wh. The laptop charges through its Thunderbolt ports under USB PD 3.1 with up to 140 W input, and the same ports deliver up to 15 W to accessories. Thanks to the Always On USB-A port, your phone keeps charging with the lid closed. The manufacturer does not give a runtime in hours, as it depends on workload and screen brightness.

Sign in with a finger or your face

The fingerprint reader built into the power button works on a Match-on-Chip basis: fingerprint data stays on the chip. The 5 MP IR camera supports Windows Hello and HDR, Computer Vision human presence detection notices whether you are at the screen, and a privacy shutter physically closes the lens. The backlit Nordic keyboard has dedicated Å, Ä and Ö keys.

Who this workstation is for

Designers, engineers and architects whose CAD and BIM models need graphics with dedicated video memory; 3D designers and video editors who use the SD Express card reader and 64 GB of memory; developers running virtual machines; and anyone who prefers a Nordic keyboard layout and wants one 16-inch machine for both the office and travel.

Questions & answers

Which keyboard layout does it have?

The keyboard has a Nordic layout with Å, Ä and Ö printed on the keys. Estonian Õ and Ü are typed via the Estonian layout in Windows; Cyrillic is not printed.

How many external monitors can I connect?

All three Thunderbolt ports support DisplayPort 2.1 and there is HDMI too, so several monitors can be connected without a dock. The manufacturer does not specify the exact maximum.

Is the memory soldered?

No. The 64 GB of LPDDR5X sits in a replaceable LPCAMM2 module. The maximum supported capacity is listed in the Lenovo hardware maintenance manual.

Does it have an Ethernet port?

The manufacturer does not list an RJ-45 port. Wired networking can be added through a Thunderbolt dock or a USB network adapter.
