Description

A 14.5-inch screen: more room, same small bag

The 14.5-inch IPS panel at 1920 × 1200 is slightly larger than a typical 14-inch screen while the chassis stays compact. The 16:10 aspect ratio gives drawings and spreadsheets more height than a 16:9 display. With 400 cd/m² of brightness and an anti-glare finish, you can work by a window or in a café without reflections. There is no touchscreen on this model.

A processor and memory that keep up with large files

The Intel Core Ultra 7 366H is an H-series processor with boost up to 4.8 GHz, speeding up compiling, simulations and exports. 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory at 7467 MHz covers CAD models, large spreadsheets and a virtual machine at the same time. The memory is an LPCAMM2 module rather than soldered to the board. The 1 TB SSD holds the system, applications and project files.

RTX PRO 1000 graphics for CAD and 3D

The NVIDIA RTX PRO 1000 Blackwell is professional workstation graphics with 8 GB of GDDR7 video memory. It accelerates CAD and BIM software, 3D modelling, rendering and video editing, and is also suited to machine learning experiments. Because the card has its own video memory, large models and textures do not take space from system RAM as they would with integrated graphics.

Ports that let you leave the dock at home

Two Thunderbolt 4 ports support DisplayPort 2.1 output and USB PD 3.1 power, so they take a monitor or a charger. Alongside them are HDMI, a wired Ethernet RJ-45 jack, two USB-A ports (5 Gbit/s), one of them Always On, a 3.5 mm headset jack and a Kensington Nano security slot. Wireless is Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 5.4.

A 75 Wh battery in a light chassis

Battery capacity is 75 Wh, and charging runs through the Thunderbolt ports under USB PD 3.1 with up to 140 W input. The same ports deliver up to 15 W to accessories, and the Always On USB-A port charges your phone with the lid closed. At 1.29 kg, the weight is low for a workstation with discrete graphics. The manufacturer does not give a runtime in hours.

Security without extra hardware

The fingerprint reader sits in the power button and works on a Match-on-Chip basis, so fingerprint data never leaves the chip. The 5 MP IR webcam supports Windows Hello face sign-in and HDR, Computer Vision human presence detection notices whether you are at the screen, and a privacy shutter covers the lens. The keyboard is backlit with an English (ENG) layout.

Who this workstation is for

Engineers and architects who need RTX PRO graphics on site or in meetings; 3D designers and video editors for whom 8 GB of video memory and 32 GB of RAM give room to work; developers running virtual machines; and anyone looking for a workstation that weighs little and fits in an ordinary laptop bag.

Questions & answers

Which keyboard layout does it have?

The keyboard has an English (ENG) layout. Other languages are added in Windows settings; the keycaps are not printed with Estonian or Russian characters.

How many external monitors can I connect?

Both Thunderbolt 4 ports carry DisplayPort 2.1 and there is an HDMI output as well, so several external monitors can be connected without a dock. The manufacturer does not specify the exact maximum.

Can the memory be upgraded later?

The memory is an LPCAMM2 module, not soldered to the board. Upgrading means swapping the module for a larger one; the exact options are listed in the Lenovo hardware maintenance manual.

Can I play games on it?

The RTX PRO 1000 Blackwell with 8 GB of GDDR7 handles games better than integrated graphics, but it is designed for professional software. The manufacturer does not publish gaming performance figures.
