Lenovo ThinkPad P16s G5 Intel laptop 16" OLED Ultra X9 64 GB Arc B390, Nordic

The 16-inch OLED panel at 2880 × 1800 with a 16:10 aspect ratio fits more text and spreadsheet rows than a 16:9 screen. Each OLED pixel emits its own light, so blacks are deep, contrast is high and photos and video look vivid. A brightness of 500 cd/m² and an anti-glare finish help in a bright room. This model does not have a touchscreen.

The Intel Core Ultra X9 388H is a 16-core processor with boost up to 5.1 GHz. The high clock speeds up single-threaded tasks such as spreadsheet calculations and application responsiveness, while the 16 cores share the load in rendering, compiling and virtual machines. The 1 TB SSD holds the system, applications and project files.

This configuration has no separate graphics card; the image comes from the Intel Arc B390 integrated into the processor. Integrated graphics use system memory, and there are 64 GB of LPDDR5X at 7467 MHz, so there is room for larger files too. The memory is an LPCAMM2 module rather than soldered, and without a discrete GPU the laptop produces less heat.

The battery is rated at 90 Wh. It charges through either Thunderbolt 4 port via USB PD 3.1 at up to 140 W, and the same ports supply up to 15 W to accessories. One USB-A port is Always On and charges a phone even when the lid is closed.

The Thunderbolt 4 ports support DisplayPort 2.1, alongside HDMI, two USB-A ports (5 Gbit/s), Ethernet RJ-45 and a 3.5 mm jack, with Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless. The fingerprint reader sits in the power button and works on a Match-on-Chip basis. The 5 MP HDR camera has an IR sensor for Windows Hello, a privacy shutter and human presence detection, and the chassis has a Kensington Nano slot.

The backlit keyboard has a Nordic layout with Å, Ä and Ö on the keys, which covers two of the four Estonian special letters directly. Õ and Ü are typed by switching to the Estonian layout in Windows. The system is Windows 11 Pro, with BitLocker drive encryption and corporate domain join.

Photographers and designers who value OLED contrast; developers and analysts for whom a fast processor and 64 GB of memory matter more than a discrete graphics card; and anyone used to a Nordic keyboard who wants Ä and Ö right on the keys.
