The 13-inch IPS panel at 2880 × 1920 has a 3:2 aspect ratio. It is taller than a standard widescreen display, so documents and web pages show more lines at once, and the screen feels more natural when you hold it as a tablet. A brightness of 500 cd/m² helps in well-lit rooms, while the touch layer lets you scroll, zoom and sign documents with a finger.

Detachable in the name means the keyboard comes off the screen. With it attached, this is a familiar ThinkPad work machine with backlit keys; without it, it becomes a touch tablet that is easy to hold in a meeting, in a warehouse or at a client site. The chassis also has an 8-point pogo pin connector. The manufacturer lists the weight at 1.25 kg, so you barely notice it in a bag.

The Intel Core Ultra 5 332 is a six-core processor with boost up to 4.4 GHz. 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory at 7467 MHz is generous for this class: dozens of browser tabs, Teams, Excel and PDFs run side by side without slowing down. The memory is soldered to the board, which is why the capacity was chosen with plenty of room from the start. The 512 GB SSD boots the system quickly, and graphics are handled by integrated Intel Graphics.

Alongside Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) and Bluetooth 5.4, the laptop has built-in 5G mobile data. You stay connected where there is no reliable Wi-Fi: on a train, in a car, on a building site or at a trade fair. There is no need to tether from your phone or worry about the security of public networks. All you need is a data plan from a mobile operator.

Both Thunderbolt 4 ports support DisplayPort 2.1 output and USB PD charging from 15 to 65 W. A single cable can connect a monitor or dock and charge the laptop at the same time. A compact 65 W USB-C GaN charger comes in the box and fits easily into a laptop bag. There is also a 3.5 mm headphone/microphone combo jack. Battery capacity is 45 Wh.

The fingerprint reader sits on the keyboard and works on a Match-on-Chip basis: fingerprint data never leaves the chip. The 5 MP front camera with an IR sensor and vHDR supports Windows Hello face sign-in and gives a more even picture against backlight, while a privacy shutter physically covers the lens. An 8 MP rear camera is handy for capturing documents and whiteboards. Windows 11 Pro supports BitLocker and domain join.
