A 27-inch diagonal fills more of your field of view, so game worlds feel more spacious, while the 200 Hz refresh rate keeps motion fluid and the 1 ms (GtG) response time keeps it sharp. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and G-SYNC compatibility remove tearing even when the frame rate fluctuates. Full HD on 27 inches means larger pixels than on a smaller screen, so it pays to sit a little further back; in return, even a mid-range graphics card can hold high frame rates.
The 27G523B-B suits players who want a bigger screen for both competitive and adventure games, and anyone who also uses the monitor for films and work. Two HDMI ports and DisplayPort 1.4 let you keep a PC and a games console connected at the same time, and a DisplayPort cable is included. With the VESA 100 × 100 mount the monitor can go on an arm to free up the desk; without the stand it weighs 3.1 kg.

For games and video, yes, especially at roughly arm's length. With small text the pixels are more visible up close than on a higher-resolution 27-inch monitor, but the load on the graphics card is lower.
No, there are no built-in speakers and no microphone. A headphone output is available, and a gaming headset can also connect directly to the PC.
No, there is no height adjustment; the manufacturer lists tilt for the stand. A monitor arm with a VESA 100 × 100 mount is the way to change the height.
