The camera in a meeting room usually sits above or below the display and shows the people at the table from the side. The Logitech Sight stands on the table itself and sees people from the front, so remote attendees see faces rather than profiles. Logitech calls it a companion camera: it is designed to work alongside the room's main video system, not to replace it.

Sight uses AI multi-participant framing: the camera detects the people at the table and composes the shots automatically, without anyone having to steer it. Depth of field runs from 50 cm to 5 m, so participants close by and further away both stay in focus. The focal length is 1.87 mm and the zoom is 1×, which means there is no optical magnification.

The horizontal field of view is 315°, the vertical 97° and the diagonal 180°, so a camera placed in the middle of the table sees almost the entire room around it. The 4K sensor at 3840 × 2160 provides enough detail for a cropped, framed shot to stay sharp, and the frame rate goes up to 60 frames per second.

The box includes a table mount, a grommet mount for a hole in the tabletop and a tripod mount, plus the Sight dongle, a Mic Pod dongle and a privacy shade. The camera measures 299 × 169 × 169 mm, weighs 1.5 kg and is white. The microphone is built into the body, and the privacy shade can be fitted whenever the camera is not in use.
