Description

Compact, yet the day's things fit

The Urban 5431 balances capacity and comfort: 20 litres are enough for a laptop, a notebook and everyday items, yet the bag does not look oversized on your back. The laptop has its own compartment with inner dimensions of 40 × 27.5 × 3.5 cm. The organiser panel in the zipped front pocket has places for a phone, documents and a pen, and outside there are side and back pockets too.

Who this backpack is for

Students and office workers who carry a laptop of up to 15.6 inches between home and work or school every day. At 500 g the backpack adds little to the load, and the water-repellent fabric helps in a sudden shower. The khaki and yellow combination suits anyone who wants something livelier than the usual black or grey bag.

Questions & answers

Will my 15.6-inch laptop fit?

The manufacturer gives a maximum screen size of 15.6″ and inner compartment dimensions of 40 × 27.5 × 3.5 cm. Compare these with the width, depth and thickness of your laptop.

Can the backpack handle rain?

According to the manufacturer the fabric is water-repellent and protects the contents from water. No water-resistance rating is given, so in a downpour the laptop deserves extra protection.

How does it differ from the grey camo Urban 5431?

Only in colour. The 20 L capacity, 500 g weight, dimensions, material and pockets are the same; this version is khaki with yellow details.
