SafeEdge construction inside the laptop compartment protects the edges of the computer when the bag bumps into a desk or a door frame. The tablet gets its own pocket with a soft lining. Both are reachable through the top-loading compartment or a side zipper, so at airport security or on a train there is no need to open the whole backpack.
Cyclists who clip a carabiner or bike light to the daisy chain and put a U-lock into the expanding front pocket; office workers whose charger and headphones need a place of their own; and travellers who like that the duffel-style zipper opens the main compartment wide so everything is visible at once. The removable SafeZone compartment keeps sunglasses and a phone apart from the rest of the gear.

The manufacturer states that the backpack fits laptops up to 15″. One data field also lists 15–17″ as the maximum screen size, so with a 16- or 17-inch laptop compare its dimensions with the bag (330 × 280 × 470 mm) first.
No, the manufacturer data lists the backpack as not waterproof. The fabric is nylon; in heavy rain it is worth protecting electronics separately.
Besides the laptop and tablet pockets there is an expanding quick-access front pocket (fits a U-lock or a power brick), a hidden vertical pocket for headphones, a hat or gloves, an organisation pocket with a clip for an access card or keys, a zippered interior mesh pocket and the removable SafeZone compartment.
