The Dahua CS4005-4GT-36 is a compact managed network switch with five gigabit ports, four of which deliver PoE power. Its 36 W PoE budget covers a few IP cameras or access points, so you do not need to run a separate power adapter to every device.

Description

Managed mode with the flip of a switch

A DIP switch on the housing turns cloud-managed mode on or off in a second. In managed mode you set up VLANs, port mirroring and broadcast storm control from the web interface or the DoLynk app, which also shows the network status in real time. PoE Watchdog monitors the PoE ports and restarts a port when the connected device stops responding, so a camera does not stay offline for long.

Who this network switch is for

A small office, café or home with up to four PoE cameras or access points and a single link to the router. The metal housing operates from –10 to 55 °C, so the switch can also go into an unheated storeroom or garage. If you do not need VLANs, it works as a plain switch as well.

How many IP cameras can it power?

There are four PoE ports and a total PoE budget of 36 W. If each camera draws up to 9 W, all four can run at once; fewer 802.3at devices drawing up to 30 W will fit in the budget. Check the actual consumption in the camera datasheet.

Can it be mounted in a server rack?

No, this model has no 19″ rack mounting. It is designed for a desk or a wall.

What is in the box?
