The Dahua SG4020 is a 1U rack-mount managed L2 network switch with 18 gigabit RJ-45 ports and two SFP slots. Switching capacity is 56 Gbit/s, it supports 4000 VLANs, a DHCP server and STP/RSTP, and the fanless housing runs silently.

Description

A managed core for a small network

Tagged VLANs split the office, cameras and guests into separate networks, the built-in DHCP server hands out addresses without a separate router, and DHCP snooping blocks rogue DHCP servers. STP/RSTP and LACP provide redundant links, QoS prioritises video, IGMP snooping sends multicast streams to the right clients, and LLDP helps track down faults.

Small and mid-sized businesses that need a managed gigabit switch in the server cabinet; installers bringing in a fibre line through the SFP slots; and rooms where fan noise is unwelcome and the unit has to work from −10 to 55 °C.
