The MikroTik CSS318-16G-2S+IN is a managed network switch with sixteen gigabit ports and two 10G SFP+ uplinks. It fits setups where 24 ports are too many and 8 are not enough, and the compact 10-inch housing goes into a small rack or a standard 19″ rack.

SwOS: core managed-switch features in the browser

MikroTik's lightweight SwOS opens directly in a web browser and needs no extra software. From there you can split the network into VLANs, mirror traffic for analysis, limit port bandwidth, filter MAC addresses and decide which ports may forward traffic to each other. Some MAC and IP header fields can be adjusted too.

Who this network switch is for

A small or medium office, or a home server cabinet, with up to 16 wired devices and a need for a fast link to a NAS or server. The two SFP+ ports carry traffic onwards at 10 Gbit/s, and the low power draw suits a cabinet that runs around the clock.
