The PTZ design lets you turn and tilt the camera to cover a wide area, while the 2.8-8 mm varifocal lens lets you zoom in on details such as faces or number plates. The wide F1.6 aperture lets in more light, and infrared night vision reaches up to 12 metres, so the camera keeps recording after dark.
With an IP65 rating, the E540 handles rain and dust outdoors. Recordings can be saved locally to a microSD card of up to 512 GB, and H.264 compression keeps file sizes manageable. The camera also has a built-in rechargeable battery.
This outdoor IP camera is a good fit for homeowners, holiday cottages, small shops and offices that want wireless video surveillance of yards, entrances, car parks or storage areas.
