The idea behind the Canvio Flex is simple: the same drive works with your laptop, your Mac and your phone. With the USB-C cable you can plug it straight into a smartphone, an iPad Pro or another tablet with a USB-C port and copy photos and videos across without a computer. Both Windows and macOS read and write the exFAT format, so there is no need to reformat the drive before first use. The silver housing is only 14.3 mm thick.

Yes. According to Toshiba, the Canvio Flex supports Android and iOS devices as well as tablets with a USB-C port, including the iPad Pro. Use the USB-C cable from the box.

Does it work with both Windows and Mac without formatting?

Yes, it comes preformatted with exFAT, which Windows 10, Windows 11 and macOS all support. You can move files back and forth between these computers freely.

How fast is the data transfer?
