The TP-Link Omada IES208G is an industrial 8-port gigabit managed network switch for DIN rail or wall mounting, with six RJ-45 ports and two combo SFP/RJ-45 ports. Its dual 9.6–60 V DC power inputs keep the network running even if one supply fails.

Description

Reliability that does not hang on one power supply

The two power inputs take separate supplies, and if one fails the switch keeps running on the other. An operating range of −40 to 75 °C and 6 kV lightning protection allow it to go into an unheated cabinet or an outdoor site. STP/RSTP prevents network loops and lets you build a network with backup links, all managed through the Omada cloud.

No, the IES208G has no PoE. If cameras or access points need power over the cable, a PoE model from the same series or a separate PoE injector will do.
