Akko Astrolink switches are magnetic: the key position is measured by a sensor rather than a mechanical contact. That is why the actuation point of each key can be set in the Akko Driver software anywhere from 0.1 to 3.4 mm. In a game a key can fire at the lightest touch, while for typing you can make it deeper to cut down on accidental presses. Rapid Trigger resets a key the moment it starts to rise, so repeat presses are quick.
