The Akko MOD68 HE is a 65% gaming keyboard with magnetic switches, in this version fitted with Akko AstroAim Magnetic switches. Each key's actuation point can be set anywhere from 0.1 to 3.4 mm, and the polling rate reaches 8000 Hz for minimal input lag in fast games.

Description

Magnetic switches that adapt to you

A magnetic switch needs no physical contact: a sensor measures how deep the key is pressed. Rapid Trigger releases the key as soon as your finger starts to lift, Snap Key gives priority to the last direction pressed, and DKS lets you assign four actions to a single key. The switches can be replaced with magnetic models from five other makers; mechanical switches do not fit. The ARGB lighting is per-key, and keycap and switch pullers are included.

Questions & answers

Does the keyboard have Estonian letters?

No. The layout is US English QWERTY (ANSI) and Estonian letters are not printed on the keys. You can enable them in your operating system's keyboard layout settings.

How does this version differ from the other MOD68 HE?

In the switches: this model uses Akko AstroAim Magnetic. The rest of the manufacturer data, including 8000 Hz, the 10000 mAh battery and the 65% layout, is the same.

Can the magnetic switches be replaced?

Yes. The switches are swappable and the manufacturer lists compatibility with magnetic switches from five other brands, calibrated in the Akko driver. Standard mechanical switches are not supported.
