The AXAGON HMC-10HLS is a 9-in-1 USB-C docking station that gives a laptop a monitor output, four USB-A ports, Gigabit Ethernet and a card reader over a single cable. The long aluminium body sits in front of or under the laptop, and the hub can pass up to 100 W of USB PD power through to charge it.

Description

One cable for the monitor, network and charging

The laptop connects with the included 25 cm cable. The second USB-C socket is for power only: plug a USB PD charger of up to 100 W into it and the current flows through the hub to the laptop, so one laptop port stays free. HDMI works when the laptop's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode or is a Thunderbolt 3/4 port.

Who this docking station is for

Owners of thin laptops and MacBooks with only a couple of USB-C ports and a desk full of things to plug in: monitor, mouse, keyboard, external drive and network cable. Photographers who copy images straight from SD and microSD cards, and anyone who wants to use the included feet to tilt the back of the laptop up for better airflow.

Does the dock charge my laptop?

Yes, if you connect a USB PD charger to the PD socket and the laptop supports charging over USB-C. The input is rated up to 100 W; the charger is not included.

How many monitors can I connect?

One: the dock has a single HDMI output up to 4K at 60 Hz. For full resolution the laptop's USB-C port must support DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode.

Does it work with a MacBook and Thunderbolt?
