Description

A slim housing that fits almost anywhere

At just 81 mm wide, the unit stands on or under a desk, and according to the manufacturer it can be placed upright or flat, or mounted on a wall or in a rack with optional kits. With no fan, it makes no distracting noise in normal operation. The input range is 161–284 V, and the LED display shows the status at a glance.

Questions & answers

How long does it run during a power cut?

Eaton quotes a typical runtime of 15–20 minutes for the 3P Ellipse series. The actual time depends on the load: the lower it is, the longer the 7 Ah battery lasts.

What is the difference between offline and line-interactive?

An offline UPS normally passes mains power straight through and switches to battery when it fails. A line-interactive model also corrects voltage fluctuations without using the battery. For home and office devices offline protection is often enough.

Can it be wall or rack mounted?

Yes, with optional kits according to the manufacturer. A rack mount kit is not included in the box and must be obtained separately.
