Does it work with a Mac?

Yes. The manufacturer lists Mac OS 10.x, along with Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 and Linux. The drive comes formatted as FAT32, which all of these systems can read.

Does FAT32 limit large files?

Yes, FAT32 cannot store a single file larger than 4 GB. If you plan to keep long videos on the drive, reformat it to exFAT or NTFS; formatting erases all data on the drive.

Does it have password protection?

No. According to the manufacturer, the drive has neither password protection nor a fingerprint reader. You can use your operating system's own tools to encrypt data.
