Description

The SD adapter makes it a full-size SD card

To move photos from your phone to a laptop, put the card in the adapter and the adapter in the computer's SD slot, with no cable needed. The same goes for a camera with an SD slot. The write protection switch prevents files from being deleted or overwritten by accident. Reads of up to 150 MB/s get photos onto the computer quickly; Kingston says full speed is reached with its MobileLite Plus reader.

What is the difference between SDCS3/128GB and SDCS3/128GBSP?

The card itself is the same in both: 128 GB and up to 150 MB/s. The SDCS3/128GB pack includes an SD adapter, while the version ending in SP has no adapter.

Is the card suitable for a drone or 4K camera?

U1 and V10 mean a sustained write speed of at least 10 MB/s. For 4K video a U3 or V30 card is generally recommended, so this card's strength is Full HD and photos.

Which file system does the card use?

The card comes formatted with exFAT, the usual file system for SDXC cards. If a device does not recognise the card, you can format it in the device itself.
