The X500 do not sit inside the ear like regular earbuds; they clip onto the ear and leave the ear canal free. So alongside music or a call you still hear what is going on around you: traffic on the street, a colleague in the office or an announcement on the train. The 11 mm drivers cover 20–20,000 Hz.
The X500 suit anyone who listens to music or takes calls on the move and wants to keep hearing their surroundings, for example on a walk or in the office. Compatibility with Windows, iOS and Android means the same earbuds work with both a computer and a phone. Up to 20 hours of playback covers several days of normal use.
