A passive USB 3.0 cable is usually short because the signal fades quickly at high speed. The active electronics in the 43155 keep transfers at up to 5 Gbit/s, so it also suits copying large files to an external drive. USB 3.0, 3.1 Gen 1 and 3.2 Gen 1 are the same 5 Gbit/s standard, and with any USB-A computer the cable is Plug and Play. Operating temperature is 0–60 °C.
